200 DEGREES COFFEE SHOP & BARISTA SCHOOL, NOTTINGHAM

Formerly a shoe shop, many of the site's traditional pub panel features had been over-clad and hidden, so were re-exposed and re-loved (enter to see the 'before' section in the gallery)

The design statement is quintessentially English, hand-made & bespoke, with many elements re-cycled or up-cycled, with influences from '50's British Industry.

Integral to the work are the sign-writing, graphics and mirrors, inspired by fonts and typeset motifs of Nottingham & the midlands industrial and manufacturing icons - by design collaborator, Nick Chaffe. www.nickchaffe.com
